Equipment
Proper equipment can make the game easier. Technology in golf has improved within the last three years with the development of hybrid clubs and newly designed drivers.

Hybrid's
Hybrid clubs are a great replacement for long irons and sometimes fairway woods. Hybrid clubs are designed with the weight placed low on the clubhead to make it easier to hit the ball in the air and get out of a bad lie. The club is also shorter than a fairway wood, which makes it easier to swing.

Driver's
Any driver made in the last three years is superior in performance.  Besides having a bigger head and sweet spot, the overall balance design of the club is better.  It creates better mishits and a better spin off the clubface for more distance.  Our professionals can fit you with the right clubs for your swing.
A driver with the correct loft and shaft flex can add a possible 10-25 yards to your drive.

Demo clubs are available in the Miacomet Golf Shop. Rob Anderson is a certified club fitter.  Please ask Rob for assistance in selecting a club or book a lesson with anyone of our professionals.  During a lesson our instructors can advise students of the correct equipment to fit their swing.
